Coming the Fall 2026

A New Way to Learn Tarot

Over the years, I have been asked one question more than any other

"Will you teach Tarot?"

I am excited to finally say...

Yes!

This fall, I will be offering my Tarot for Beginners course, available to download so you can learn comfortably in your own home and at your own pace.

This is not your typical Tarot course.

Rather than asking you to memorize hundreds of card meanings, I will guide you in learning to understand the language of Tarot through your own intuition. Together, we will explore the symbolism within each card and discover how your inner wisdom can bring the cards to life in a way that is personal and meaningful.

One of the unique features of this course is that you won't be learning alone.

If you have questions as you work through the lessons, I will be available to help through email, and for those who would like additional guidance, one-on-one Zoom sessions will also be available.

Whether you have never picked up a Tarot deck before or are looking to strengthen your intuitive abilities, this course is designed to help you develop confidence, trust yourself, and enjoy the wonderful journey that Tarot can offer.

I look forward to sharing this journey with you.  Read a small portion of

The Tale of the Fool.

This is my version of the Major Arcana Story)

Chapter 0    The Fool

The Fool had been contemplating starting something new but was unsure what that might be. Lately, each day seemed much like the one before it. He followed the same routine, walked the same paths, and watched the seasons quietly change around him. He was not unhappy, yet deep inside he felt as though something was missing. There had to be more waiting for him somewhere beyond the life he already knew.

One afternoon, while sitting outside his small cottage enjoying the warmth of the sun, he noticed movement near his front gate. A small white dog cautiously stepped into the yard.

The little fellow looked frightened and terribly hungry. His coat was tangled and dusty, and his ribs showed beneath his fur. Kneeling down slowly so he would not scare him away, the Fool spoke softly.

"Well now... where did you come from?"

The dog tilted his head but said nothing, only wagging his tail ever so slightly.

The Fool searched for a collar or tag but found none. He brought the dog inside, prepared a hearty meal, and after a warm bath, watched as the little creature curled up near the fireplace and fell into a peaceful sleep.

The Fool smiled.

"So this," he whispered, "is what it feels like to care for someone else."

During the next few days, the little dog never left his side.

"I suppose," the Fool laughed one morning, "until I think of a proper name, you shall simply be my companion."

As he watched the dog happily exploring the yard, a curious thought entered his mind.

"If my companion can somehow find where he belongs... surely I can find where I belong too."

For the first time in many years he asked himself a question that stirred something deep within his heart.

"What do I want to do when I grow up?"

The question made him laugh.

Although he was no longer a child, perhaps none of us ever truly stop growing.

That evening he made his decision.

Tomorrow he would leave the comfort of everything familiar behind. He would pack only what he truly needed and set out to discover where life wished to lead him.

The next morning the Fool awoke before sunrise.

The air was cool and fresh. Birds greeted the new day with cheerful songs while the first rays of sunlight stretched across the fields.  His companion bounded excitedly toward him carrying a small bowl in his mouth.  "I suppose that's your way of saying you're coming too," the Fool chuckled.

The little dog barked happily.  The Fool packed a few clothes, some food, a blanket, and finally reached for an old journal that had been sitting untouched on a shelf.  He paused.

"I've never been one to write my thoughts," he said quietly. "Still... something tells me this should come with me."  Closing the knapsack, he slung it over his shoulder.

"Well, my friend," he smiled at the little dog, "today we begin a new journey. I have no idea where it will lead us, but I have a feeling the answers I've been searching for won't be found by standing still."

With hopeful hearts they started down the winding path.

The Fool found himself humming as he walked. Everything around him seemed more alive than ever before. The flowers appeared brighter, the breeze gentler, and even the mountains in the distance seemed to invite him forward.  So caught up in the excitement of beginning again, he failed to notice the steep cliff lying just ahead.  His faithful companion noticed immediately.

The little dog barked sharply and tugged at the Fool's clothing.  Startled, the Fool stopped just in time.

Looking down, he realized one more careless step might have changed everything.

He knelt beside his companion and gently scratched behind his ears.

"Thank you, my friend. You saw what I could not."

The little dog happily wagged his tail before trotting toward another trail that safely wound around the cliff.

The Fool smiled.

"Perhaps this journey isn't just about finding my path. Perhaps it's also about learning when to listen."

Together they continued forward, each step carrying them farther into the unknown, yet somehow bringing them closer to who they were meant to become.
